A Prof PAUL BAILEY
MEDICAL DIRECTOR St JOHN AMBULANCE
Topic: Hospital - What you didn't know
Prof STEPHEN DUNJEY
EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN, RPH
PROFESSOR OF EM, ST JOHN OF GOD MURDOCH
Topic: Pre Hospital - What you didn't know
Come join us for a morning of interactive and thought provoking PD followed by lunch and drinks at the newly opened luxury Samphire Resort, Rottnest Island.
Associate Professor Paul Bailey (Medical Director, St John Ambulance) and Professor Stephen Dunjey (Emergency Physician, RPH & Professor of EM, St John of God Murdoch) are the stars of this event with individual topical presentations followed by an open forum Q&A session where absolutely everything is up for discussion!
The two individual sessions are titled: Pre Hospital - What you didn't know and Hospital - What you didn't know. The idea behind this is to bridge the gap between the two and have a better appreciation for what each of us has to do in our respective roles. Both presenters are highly engaging and open to questions throughout so our advice is to expect the unexpected as these discussions could go anywhere!
After a morning of engaging PD the event will move outside where participants can take in the breath-taking views over Thompson Bay whilst enjoying 2 hours of drinks and a light lunch.
Registrations are open to all Medical Professionals (although specifically targeted to those working pre-hospital or in the ED setting) and includes the following:
Access to exclusive discounts with Rottnest Express including all inclusive $49 return fares
2 hours optional e-learning/ pre-event reading to ensure you are primed with questions!
3 hours Interactive PD
2 hour alcoholic drinks package
All up this is a whopping 7 hours of CPD that could count towards your yearly registration requirements with AHPRA. Event numbers are capped at 120 participants so please ensure to secure your place early to avoid disappointment.
